Radiator Cover Construction & Materials
Our radiator covers are built from solid poplar. Poplar is an excellent choice as it’s a hardwood and tight-grained, which makes our covers very strong and allows for a smooth coat of paint.
Our radiator covers are assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joinery along with modern wood screws
The lids are fastened securely to the cabinet and have a reflective insulation attached to the underside, so radiator cover warping is not an issue. The radiator cover insulation allows heat to be efficiently reflected into the room.
